Three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men were injured, on Wednesday, in a grenade attack in the Tawheed Chowk Daderhama area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
An unknown official said that militants hurled a grenade on 115 bn CRPF in Daderhama, resulting in injuries to three CRPF men.
He said that the injured CRPF men were shifted to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Science (SKIMS) Soura for treatment, adding that the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal, Khalil Poswal told a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer that the grenade was lobbed on the deployment of forces in the area in which three personnel have suffered minor injuries.
He added that the area has been cordoned off and an investigation has been started in this regard. (KNO)
