The fire broke out at the district hospital in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday, damaging one of the blocks, reported a local newspaper.
The report added that fire broke out at a hospital building shortly after noon today, causing panic among the patients and their attendants. However, timely intervention prevented the fire from spreading to other blocks.
All the patients were reported to be safe. However, one of the blocks suffered damaged due to the fire, the cause of which was not immediately known.
