The father of the deceased lady told KNO that his daughter was admitted to the hospital on 3 September as she suffered from severe infection. “During treatment at GMC Baramulla, she was diagnosed with IUD of her six months fetus, due to which severe infection was caused in her body and doctors removed the infectious fetes to save her. But unfortunately they couldn’t save her,” he said.

Meanwhile, Medical Superintendent of GMC Baramulla, Dr. Masood Ahmad said that they have approached the concerned police station and have registered a complaint in this regard against the family for damaging the hospital property.
