A 60-year-old man was killed after being hit by a vehicle on Baramulla-Uri national highway near police training college Sheeri Baramulla on Saturday.
An official told a local news agency, Kashmir News Service (KNS), that the man identified as Mohamad Ali Shah Son of Mohamad Muzafar Shah residents of Navaranda Uri was working at “Afridi Hotel” Sheeri as a waiter was hit by a speedy vehicle, leaving him in a pool of blood.
He said that the injured man was evacuated to PHC Sheeri for treatment, where doctors referred him to GMC Bla in a critical condition. “After examining, the doctors of Baramulla advised him go to Srinagar for further treatment where he succumbed.”
Meanwhile, police officials while talking to KNS said that the FIR Number 31/22 US 337 in this regard has been registered and futher investigation is going on. (KNS)
