Peoples Conference candidate Shabnam Rehman has taken lead over her rival candidates, securing 831 votes, as the second round of the counting process has concluded for the Drugmulla DDC constituency.

An official detailing the figures told a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS), that Shabroz Hassan (INC) has secured 593 votes, Shakeela Akhter (BJP) 396, Hameeda Begum (AP) 208, Aamina Majeed (Independent) 760, Hafeeza Begum (Independent) 18, Rifat Jaan (Independent) 112, Rafiqa Bano (Independent) 27, Saima Begum (Independent) 6 and Gulshan Begum (Independent) 7.

A total of 72 votes have been counted as invalid, the official said. (GNS)
