COVID-19: No new case in Srinagar for third day straight

Srinagar: The summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir has not reported any new case of coronavirus in the last three days. However, twenty-five more cases were detected in Kashmir today; the tally in the Union Territory has risen to 270.

District Development Commissioner, Shahid Choudhary, too shared the news on Twitter. “While we attend every case with same attention, gladly there’s no local Covid +ve for 3rd day,” he said. “Sadly, twelve new reported today, all from same group of outsiders who’ve been in quarantine since Mar 27.”

Choudhary further added that Srinagar needs to continue with precautions, patience, and no panic.

In the country, more than 9,000 people have been tested positive for the virus; among them nearly 330 have died.
