Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Friday recorded 53rd death due to Coronavirus as one more patient from Rajouri district has died at Government Medical College Jammu.

Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that 65-year-old man from Sialsui village of Rajouri’s Kalakote Tehsil was referred to GMC Jammu six days ago with some injuries.

He wasater tested positive for novel Coronavirus at GMC Jammu.

“Today morning, the patient has died. He was undergoing treatment from past few days,” Medical Superintendent of GMC Jammu, Dr. Dara Singh said.

With fresh fatality, the overall death toll due to the deadly virus has reached 53–(KNO)
