Srinagar: The government of India on Thursday extended the ban on international passenger flights till 14 April amid the scare of COVID-19 across the country.
“It has been decided that all scheduled commercial passenger services shall remain closed till 1830 hours GMT of April 14, 2020,” the latest advisory from Indian aviation regulator DGCA reads.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare there are a total number of 649 positive cases in India.
However, on 24 March Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 21 day lockdown across the country and advised people to stay indoors.
