Srinagar: Seven people have tested positive for the coronavirus, taking the number of the COVID-19 patients in Jammu and Kashmir to 434.

Nodal Officer, Dr Saleem Khan, told that they have received fresh seven positive cases from Chest Disease Hospital, Srinagar, on Thursday evening.

Khan said that since yesterday 8 pm to today 8 pm, 235 number of samples were processed in the CD hospital lab; out of which eight returned positive.

“Among the cases, one patient is from Baramulla admitted in CD Hospital yesterday, 7 cases are from Shangus, Anantnag,” Khan said.

He said that today the CD Hospital lab received 300 samples and are being processed. (GNS)
