Srinagar: Police arrested 23 non local labourers near Verinag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district when who in a bid to avoid police, tried to take alternate routes to reach Chambalvas Banihal area.
All these men were shifted to Primary Health Centre for screening and have been quarantined at Lower Munda.
A police official confirmed that 23 non local labourers were detained and quarantined when they were trying to leave their respective areas taking alternate routes.
Police appeal one and all to stay where they are and maintain social distancing in wake of spreading of Covid-19 infections. (KNT)
