Srinagar: Twenty people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Kashmir, taking the tally in Jammu and Kashmir to 454.

A senior doctor at SKIMS told that they have received twenty new positive cases from COVID-19 testing laboratory SKIMS, Soura, today. Among the cases, he said that nine patients are from Bandipora, five are from Shopian, four from Kupwara, and two patients are from Tangmarg.

Meanwhile, a doctor at the CD Hospital, Dalgate, said that today the COVID-19 laboratory has processed 145 samples and reports of all returned to be negative.

He said that the reports of ninety-six samples which were received late yesterday are being processed and are pending

Till Thursday, 64,876 people in J-K were under observation while 6,039 people were kept under home quarantine besides that 330 people were in hospital isolation. Also, 279 people were under hospital quarantine and 44,940 people completed their surveillance period.
