Srinagar: Dr. Naveed Shah, who is the Head of Department at Chest Disease Hospital Srinagar, said that Srinagar will soon move into the stage of discharging recovered COVID-19 patients after at least thirteen recovered patients were discharged from the hospital on Tuesday.
Calling the moment satisfactory, Dr. Shah, a leading Pulmonologist in the Valley, added that thirteen COVID-19 patients were discharged from the hospital and have been asked to go for home quarantine.
Dr. Shah also thanked all his colleagues, microbiologists, and supporting staff at the hospital. “Not lower our guard, stay home, stay safe, maintain social distance and obey advisories. Together, we can overcome all challenges,” he tweeted.
Yesterday, Dr. Shah had said that Srinagar will soon move into the stage of discharging recovered COVID-19 patients and it was important to understand that these persons are now as normal as others.
He said while it is understandable that people are scared of this disease and one must take all precautions as required it is important to understand that those who had it and have now recovered are just as free from it as others who don’t have it. (KNT)
