Srinagar: The administration in newly carved Union Territory of Ladakh Tuesday ordered closure of all educational institutions including colleges and universities as a precautionary measure in wake of the deadly coronavirus.

An advisory about the closure of all colleges and universities was issued on Tuesday vide order number LA (HE) UTL/ 2020.

The order reads that “in view of prevailing circumstances and as precautionary measure for containment of COVID—19, all the colleges and universities in union territory of Ladakh shall remain closed till 31st of March.”

The order was issued by the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Radha Krishna Mathur as precautionary measure. (KNO)
