Pulwama: Joint forces launched a cordon and search operation in Pakharpora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday.
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that after receiving inputs about the movement of militants, joint forces including army from 53 battalion cordoned of Mohindpora village and launched a search operation.
The door-to-door searches were underway when this report was being filed.
The village is close to the territorial boundary of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district where a gunfight and an attack on bank guard had taken place on Thursday. (KNT)
