Srianagar: As the nationwide lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus extends, District Administration Bandipora launched e-pass service to mitigate the suffering of patients and stranded people in the district.

District Development Commissioner, Bandipora, Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza said that any patient, stranded person, or an employee in need of restriction pass can apply online at www.bandipore.nic.in, with the link available on the homepage.

In the form, said Mirza, people will need to enter personal details along with relevant documents including uploading the photo ID proof, other valid documents, and the copy of the doctor’s prescription. The confirmation message will be sent on registered mobile numbers and e-mail ID.

The service has been launched for the conveneince of the general public, said Mirza,  so that they don’t need to visit the DM’s office. He said the employees also need to apply online for the curfew passes.
