An army trooper died after he fell from a bridge and drowned in a water body in Shopian district of south Kashmir on Friday, officials said.
They said the army trooper was identified as Arun Kumar of army’s 62 RR slipped from the bridge during patrolling near Sedow area, who was a resident of Pathankot. The officials said that the army trooper’s body will be sent home.
A police officer confirmed the death of the army trooper to a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS).
