Army troopers on Thursday opened fire after witnessing a suspicious movement along Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector.
Official sources said that army troops in the evening observed suspicious movements on LoC in Poonch sector.
They said that the troops fired some rounds towards the Pakistan side with small calibre weapons.
Sources, however, said that no further engagement or retaliation was reported when the report was last filed.
The fresh firing came a day after government forces gunned down four heavily armed militants in Sidhra area of Jammu. (KNO)
