Army today apprehended a 16-year-old boy while crossing the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district, officials said.

News agency GNS quoted Army’s Jammu based spokesperson Lt Col Devender Anand as identifying the teenager as Khyam Maqsood (16), a resident of Harkadiya Bala village of Abbaspur in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.

The teenager was apprehended in Khari area in Gulpur sector in the mountainous district.

This comes days after the repatriation of three boys aged between 9 and 17 years recently by the army in the district.
