Verinag: Government forces on Monday claimed to have recover a cache of arms and ammunition in Nowgam Verinag area of Dooru in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Official sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the recovery was made during a search and cordon operation jointly conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir police, CRPF and Army’s 19 RR in Nowgam Verinag.
They said that the recovery includes 1 AK 56, 03 Chinese Grenades and pouch.
“A case has been registered and further investigation has been taken up,” they said—(KNO)
