Unknown persons have cut down high-density apple trees from the orchard of a farmer in Panzgam village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The victim Abdul Rashid Dar son of Abdul Subhan Dar, a resident of Panzgam told a local news agency, Kashmir News Trust (KNT) over the phone that he found at least 8 apple trees lying on ground when he visited his orchard on Monday afternoon.

“I am upset and want police to expose the culprits responsible for this act. I will lodge a complaint at police post Panzgam and hope police will trace the culprits,” he said. (KNT)
