A horseman ferrying Amarnath Yatris died on Thursday when he fell off a horse between the holy cave and Panjtarni.
Official sources identified the victim as Imtiyaz Ahmed Khan son of Muhammad Yousuf Khan, a resident of Chakilpora Shangus Nowgam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The horseman was on his way from holy to Panjtarni.
Sources told a local news agency, Kashmir News Trust (KNT), that due to slippery conditions, his horse slipped and he fell off it, resulting in his death. (KNT)
