An Amarnath pilgrim died of cardiac arrest during Amarnath Yatra in Pahalgam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag area, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a 66-year-old yatri identified as Kalavala Subrmanym from Andhra Pradesh died of a heart arrest at base camp hospital near the lower cave.
He said that he was on way to Amarnath cave when he suffered cardiac arrest and was shifted to base camp hospital, where he breathed his last. (KNO)
