Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department on Saturday assigned the charge of the post of director SCERT to Principal Secretary to the government SED, in addition to his own duties.
According to an order, a copy of which lies with a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the charge of the post of Director SCERT has been assigned to Principal Secretary in view of the superannuation of Prof Veena Pandit, who was holding its additional charge.
“In view of superannuation of Prof. Veena Pandita from the post of Chairperson, Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JK BOSE) holding additional charge of Director, SCERT JK on 30.06.2022 and in the interest of administration, it is hereby ordered that Principal Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, J&K shall look after the charge of Director, SCERT JK in addition to his own duties and till further order or till the post is filled by a regular incumbent,” reads the order.
It added that this is issued with approval of the competent authority. (KNO)
