Former Minister and former legislator from Kupwara, Ghulam Qadir Mir has passed away on the night intervening night of Monday and Tuesday at his residence in Friends Enclave Srinagar.
Family sources while confirming the demise of Mir, said that his body is being taken to Lone Harie village of Kupwara where he will be laid to rest.
They said that Namaz-e-Jinazah (Funeral Prayers) of the deceased will be held today at 5:30 PM at their ancestral graveyard in Lone Harria village. (KNS)
