An eight-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a vehicle in a Zachaldara area of Handwara on Sunday, officials said here.
An official told a local news agency, Kashmir News Service (KNS), that a boy identified as Irfan Ahmed Sheikh son of Nazir Ahmed Sheikh was hit by a vehicle, resulting in his on spot death.
He said that the accused driver has been arrested by police, while vehicle has also been seized.
The official added that a case has also been registered in this regard. (KNS)
