Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir has been placed on high alert for the next 48 hours and internet maybe suspended on Thursday.
The move comes ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s all-party meeting with political leaders of J-K tomorrow.
As per a report by India Today, areas along the Line of Control have also been put on high alert in the wake of the meeting.
Several reports are coming that internet services in J-K could also be snapped on Thursday due to the meeting.
PM Modi has called for an all-party meet of political leaders from J-K on 24 June . The all-party meeting comes nearly two years after the abrogation of J-K’s limited autonomy on 5 August 2019.
