At least 38 Pakistani militants are present in Jammu and Kashmir, India Today quoting sources in the Intelligence agencies reported.

According to the report these militants are under the radar of government forces.

The Intelligence agencies prepared a list of Pakistani militants involved in militancy incidents in the Kashmir Valley.

According to the list, there are 38 Pakistani militants present in Kashmir as of now, sources said.

Sources said out of these 38 militants, 27 are affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba and the rest 11 are affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed.

“Out of these, four militants might be hiding in Srinagar, three in Kulgam and 10 each in Pulwama and Baramulla,” the source said, adding that a total of 11 militants might be hiding in different parts of Kashmir.

“These trained militants are hiding here and there with the help of OGW [over ground worker] by dodging the government forces,” sources said.

The report also revealed that these Pakistani militants were also involved in hiding other militants and attacking government forces in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Stringent actions will be taken against Pakistani militants who are hiding in Jammu and Kashmir,” sources said.
