Srinagar: A 35-year old woman died due to electrocution in the border town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday morning.

The deceased woman was identified as Khalida Begum wife of Mohd Ashraf Sheikh resident of main town Uri.

The woman received an electric shock after she came in contact with a live electric wire as some construction work is going on at her home, reports said.

A health official said that she was immediately shifted to sub-district hospital (SDH) Uri where doctors declared her brought dead.(GNS)
