Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested three LeT militant associates in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

J-K Police said that they, along with 55 RR and 182 Bn CRPF, busted a LeT militant module in Pulwama and arrested three Over Ground Workers (OGWs).

Police identified the OGWs as Amir Nazir Hazar son of Nazir Ahmad Hazar resident of Wagam, Suhail Ahmad Bhat son of Ab Rashid Bhat and Nasir Hussain son of Bashir Ahmad Ganie residents of Chinar Bagh Pulwama.

“The trio were acting as associates of militant Arif Hazar@ rehan, one granade and 13 rounds of AK- 47 and other incriminating material recovered from their possession,” police in a statement said.

Police said that a case, FIR no 47/2022, under relevant section of law has been registered in Police Station Pulwama.
