Kupwara Police during a naka checking at Trehgam market apprehended 03 notorious drugs peddlers.
Police claimed to have recovered about 65 gms of Charras like substance from their possession.
”It was a routine naka of Police Station Trehgam laid by SI Qudrat Ali under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Rashad Younis in Trehgam Market when the trio was seen suspiciously moving in the area. As they are already known to be notorious persons dealing in clandestinely peddling narcotics, they were inquired to about their movement and searched, on which recovery of narcotics was made from their individual possession totalling to 65 grams.”
Police has taken cognisance of the matter and FIR No.08/22, u/s 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered in PS Trehgam and investigation taken up.
