Awantipora: Police today claimed to have arrested two militant associates linked with Hizbul outfit in Awantipora and recovered incriminating materials including ammunition from their possession.
According to a police press release issued to The Kashmir Walla, Awantipora Police along with 42RR and 130Bn CRPF arrested two militant associates linked with HM outfit.
“They have been identified as Muzamil Ayoub Bhat son of Mohd Ayoub Bhat resident of Shahabad Kharpora Bala Lalgam Awantipora and Suhail Manzoor Mohand son of Manzoor Ahmad Mohand resident of Shahabad Kharpora Bala Lalgam Awantipora,” police said.
“Incriminating materials, ammunition including 383 rounds of AK-47 were recovered from their possession.”
A case vide FIR no. 194/2021 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Awantipora and investigation has been initiated.
