A teenage girl on Sunday allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself to death in Katra area of Reasi district on Sunday.
A police officer said that the girl (18) hanged herself to death at her residence in Ramnagar of Udhampur.
He said that she was rushed to CHC Katra where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation. (KS)
