Sixteen students at the Government Medical College (GMC) Doda have tested positive for Covid-19, days after the college started offline practical classes.
Principal of the college Dinesh Kumar told The Kashmir Walla that all the students who tested positive have been quarantined.
Among the 16 students, 10 are boys and five girls, Kumar said, adding that two to four among them are symptomatic.
He said the college resumed offline practical classes since 5 August 2021 which was followed by Covid tests of students.
“Now we have suspended the classes. However, the online classes will resume in a week or two,” the principal said.
