At least 13 persons were injured in a road accident that took place at Nagrota in Jammu outskirts on Friday evening.

The accident took place at Panjgrian Nagrota when a minibus rolled down and fell into a deep gorge, resulting in injuries to 13 persons.

The injured include Khurshid Bibi (68) wife of Nazir Ali resident of Kangar Gharota Jammu, Suriya Bibi (40) wife of Babli age resident of Kheri Jammu, Sultan (5) son of Mohd Latif resident of Kheri Jammu, Shenaz (32) wife of Mohammad Latif resident of Kheri Jammu, Begum Bibi (30) wife of Mohammad Sadiq resident of Kheri Jammu, Sariya Fatima (5) daughter of Mohammad Mushtaq resident of Kheri Jammu, Nasreen (17) daughter of Mohammad Babi resident of Kheri Jammu, Mumtaz (28) wife of Ahmed Qazi resident of Kheri Jammu, Bashira Bibi (30) wife of Saif Ali resident of Kheri Jammu, Rashida Bibi (14) daughter of Mohammad Akram resident of Kheri Jammu, Razia Bibi (15) daughter of Gulam Hussain resident of Kheri Jammu, Tania (12) daughter of Qasim Ali resident of Kheri Jammu and Rashida Bibi (38) wife of Gulam Mustafa resident of Kheri Jammu.

Police said that all the injured are undergoing treatment at local hospital while a case under relevant sections of law have been registered in local police station. (KNO)
