A man was killed after an army vehicle him him near Batwara area of Srinagar city, reported a local news agency, Kashmir News Trust (KNT).
The visuals of the body lying on the road went viral on the internet as locals assembled on the spot to protest against the army when this report was being filed.
An unidentified police official said that the identity of the deceased is being ascertained. The vehicular movement has been disrupted due to the accident.
