A family in Srinagar was rendered homeless on Monday when their houseboat sank in the river Jehlum near Rajbagh. Ab Khaliq Gura, head of the family said that the house was being used by them for residential as well as commercial purposes. He said that the family has suffered a huge loss and seeks compensation from authorities.
