Srinagar: Bharatiya Janta Party’s Jammu and Kashmir President Ravinder Raina on Thursday termed the killing of the party’s youth leader Wasim Bari as “huge loss” for the party and said the slain BJP leader was a tiger who stood for India in Kashmir despite all odds.
Talking to media, BJP leader Mr. Raina expressed heartfelt sympathy to grief-stricken family members of slain BJP leader and reiterated that party will neither forgive nor forget sacrifices rendered by Mr. Wasim.
“[Mr.]Wasim was a brave son of India. He was true patriotic who always used his efforts in strengthening nationalism in Kashmir”, Mr.Raina was quoted as saying by a local news gathering Kashmir News Service (KNS) and added, “He was a tiger of our party and those who killed him will not be spared”.
Mr. Raina said that militants are desperate as their entire leadership was wiped out in Valley; it is why they are targeting unarmed political workers to create fear among masses.
Hitting out at the neighboring country, BJP leader said, “Pakistan is leaving no stone unturned to destabilize peace in Kashmir”, and said, “The fresh killing incident of political workers in Bandipora area of Kashmir should be seen in this context”. (KNS)
