A massive rescue operation was launched on Tuesday evening after a vehicle plunged into a deep gorge on Mughal road, officials said.

Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that at around 08:30 pm, one Canter loud carrier bearing registration number HR58C-9798 plying from Shopian towards Poonch met with an accident at Dogrian.

Reportedly, the driver lost control on the vehicle and rolled down into 250/300 feet deep gorge.

Two persons were on board when the vehicle rolled down into a deep gorge.

The massive rescue operation by local police , traffic police and locals of the area is underway, they said. (KNO)
