Two militants of ‘The Resistance Front’ (TRF) outfit were arrested by Police in summer capital Srinagar, officials said on Friday.
In a tweet, police identified the duo as Zubair Gul son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat of Zoonimar and Mohammad Hamza Wali son of Mohammad Yousuf of Safakadal. “Srinagar Police claims to have apprehended Two militants associated with TRF namely Zubair Gul S/o Gh Mohd Bhat resident of Zoonimar (Category C) & Mohd Hamza Wali S/o Md Yousuf R/o Safakadal (Hybrid),” police said.
“Pistol, grenade etc recovered. FIR registered in safakadal police station,” police added. However, tweet didn’t mention place and timing of the arrest. (KDC)
