Two militants were killed in a retaliatory fire after government forces tried to stop a vehicle during area domination in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Kashmir zone police, in a tweet, informed that on a specific input, the joint area domination party tried to stop a suspected vehicle.
Police said militants travelling in the vehicle oped fire at the forces party, which was retaliated. “In the retaliatory firing two militants have been killed,” it said.
“On specific input, the joint area domination party of Army & Police tried to stop one suspected vehicle, terrorists fired upon and in retaliation two terrorists were killed. Arms/ammunition recovered. Details shall follow,” police tweeted. (KNO)
