A girl hailing from Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama who had suffered burn injuries a week before due to gas leakage succumbed at SMHS hospital on Saturday.
An official said that a girl identified as Anisa Javaid (18) daughter of Javaid Ahmad Najar resident of Hariparigam village of Tral had suffered critical burn injuries on 21 May at her residence in a gas leakage blast.
He said she was shifted to GMC Anantnag for treatment, where from she was shifted to SMHS hospital for advanced treatment where she succumbed on Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KS)
