A Delhi court has issued a non-bailable warrant against Bombay High Court lawyer Nikita Jacob in connection with its probe in the Greta Thunberg “toolkit case”, reported The Print.
“She fled from her residence and is now untraceable. We have an NBW issued against her and our teams are working to trace her location,” The Print reported quoting unnamed sources in Delhi police. “Our investigations have revealed that Jacob is the key person who created that toolkit, which was ultimately shared by Thunberg.”
Disha Ravi, a climate activist, was arrested in the same case on Saturday. She was taken into custody by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police for five days.
The famed teen climate activist Greta Thunberg had shared the “toolkit” to show her support for the farmers’ agitation against the three farm laws in India. Various urgent actions were listed which were needed to be taken to support the farmers’ protest in the document.
Some critics pointed to the “toolkit” as her conspiracy of fueling protests across India.
The first arrest in connection with the ‘toolkit case’ was of Ravi when she was picked up from her house for questioning and later arrested, followed by the arrest of activist-lawyer Jacob.
