Jammu and Kashmir Police in Baramulla booked three persons accused of involvement in “anti-national activities” on Thursday.

“Acting tough against ANEs Baramulla police booked two persons namely Tawseef Ahmad Parray alias Gasha son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Andergam Pattan, Ghulam Mohammad Lone alias Gulla son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Lachipora Uri and Shahzad Ahmad Malik alias Shad Ponz son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Singhpora Pattan under Public Safety Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority,” reads a statement.

“The booked persons have been detained and subsequently lodged in central jail Kot-Bhalwal Jammu.”

“Pertinent to mention that many cases are registered against these persons and were involved in anti-national activities and despite their involvement in many FIR’s they did not mend their anti-national activities,” the statement reads further. (GNS)
