A 17-year-old girl died while at least ten other sustained injuries in a major road accident in Rafiabad area of Baramulla district on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
An official said that three vehicles collided and plunged into a Nallah in Rafiabad area today afternoon.
He said soon after the incident, a rescue operation was launched and the 11 injured were taken to the district hospital Baramulla, where one girl identified as Mehak Mohidin succumbed to her injuries.
He said among ten injured persons, condition of four is said to be critical.
The official said police team has reached to the spot and are ascertaining the details. (KNS)
