A teenager drowned in Jhelum River at Soiteng Lasjan area of Srinagar on Monday afternoon even as rescue operation has been launched, officials sources said.
Official sources told a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a fourteen-year-old Asrar Ahmad Dar of Padshahi Bagh drowned in river Jehlum at Soiteng Lasjan while talking a bath.
They said that the rescue operation has been launched by army and local police to fish out the body of teenager. (KNO)
