A 19-year-old youth went missing from his home nearly a week ago in Dadsara Awantipora of south-Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Kashif Mir, a student of eleventh standard, as per a family member went missing from his home on20 March. “We have been looking for him at every possible place however have been unable to locate him for nearly a week now”, he said adding that “a missing report dated March 20 has been already registered in this regard.”

Meanwhile a police official confirming receipt of a missing report from the family of the youth told GNS that “Efforts are on to trace the teenager.”

Earlier, Mir’s two elder siblings Nayeem Bashir and Adil Bashir, both associated with militant outfit Hizb-ul-Mujhaideen, were killed in separate gunfights in 2010 and 2014 respectively. (GNS)
