Suspected militants hurled a grenade followed by firing on the government forces in Bonbazar area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday, reported a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS).
An unnamed senior police officer told GNS that militants lobbed grenade followed by firing on the government forces, however, in this incident no loss of life or injury has been reported.
Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (GNS)
