In a shocking incident, a 12-year-old girl was raped by a relative in Srinagar, the police said.
According to the police, an accused namely Zaid Feroz of old Barzulla, Srinagar, aged 22 years, was arrested for raping a 12-year-old girl, whose name has been withheld.
“The accused is a close relative of the victim girl child. FIR no 56/2023 under sections 5, 6 of POCSO act registered in Sadar PS & investigation started,” the police said.
