Police on Sunday arrested a man from Srinagar’s Lal Bazar area for raping a minor girl.
“One Accused namely Sajad Ali Sofi of Gulshanbagh, Lal bazar arrested for raping a minor girl of same locality (name withheld),” Srinagar Police tweeted.
The tweet further read: “In this regards FIR no 53/2022 under sections 376 of IPC and sections 3/4 of POCSO Act stands registered at Lal Bazar PS.”
