At least ten sheep were crushed to death by a speedy vehicle at Watergam area of Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday late evening.
Source told a local news agency, Kashmir News Service (KNS), that a nomadic crew was carrying sheep when an unknown vehicle (Tata Mobile) hit the livestock near Watergam resulting into on spot killing of ten sheep.
Meanwhile, a police official while confirming the incident said that a case has been registered in this regard.
Taking advantage of darkness, the driver fled from the spot, however, he will be identified and arrested soon, he added. (KNS)
